Just a quick recap of the last few months...
Paul- he's back in grad school and taking classes spring & fall. So proud of you, Baby! He's working for a new company and loving his new job...which is always a great thing!!! We went to see Rick Springfield end of March and for 61, he can still rock the house! It was a lot of fun...saw some people in 80s fashion...ummm...wasn't cute then either ;o)
Georgie- She's still my spoiled baby girl...her asthma has been acting up non-stop this season! She's been on daily nebs for almost 3 mos now. Come on weather, get better so my baby can breathe! During spring break, Georgie's birthday landed...and the KC3 girls got georgie HOOKED on American Girl dolls. Yes, we got suckered into that racket. Georgie got Kanani for her birthday...and poor Kanani has been dragged here & there and everywhere since then.
Maddie- Well...same old, same old. I wish I had wonderful things to post. But Maddie has been acting up quite a bit. She's been caught stealing twice- once from a girl at school and another from a book store. Both returned! She's still in survival mode after all this time (almost 3 yrs now)...she still chronically lies and about stupid nonsense stuff too. I finally got her into special ed at school- for reading and math. It just took 2.5 yrs to get her in there. Ugh. She seems to really like her special ed teacher...and so do we.
KC3- we got to see them over spring break and they all look soooo good. They really are a treat! Each one is soooo special in their own right. We took Cameron & Corinna swimming at our hotel's indoor pool and Pam & Josh brought Parker (these are dear friends of ours that moved to KC)...we had the entire pool to ourselves and we took FULL ADVANTAGE of it!!! Then we went our separate ways til dinner and met up at Josh & Pams...Josh is one mean griller...and we all ATE and watched a KU game and then played guitar hero. It was a most fantabulous day!!!! The weekend was short & sweet...but we got to enjoy all 3 kids together for Sunday brunch and then had cake & ice cream for the OKC2 girls' combined bday.
Robyn...where shall I start?!?!? I'm mainly on facebook now. So, most of my daily rants/raves are on there. Sorry. The big things that happened to us all seemed to happen in March...we got our foundation lifted (4 piers), went to KC for a whirlwind weekend, went to Wichita Falls to visit a friend who adopted a daughter from Maddie's SWI in Chin@...and on the way down to WF, TX my van's check engine light came on...and stayed on during the ride back to the city. Well, the van's transmission was on it's way out at 79K. We ended up trading it in for a 2011 Civic LX and she's a fun car to drive. Still trying to get used to the SMALLNESS of it.
So, that's the long & the short of it...til next time!
